The Feral Aunt Society is an inclusive community dedicated to protecting and supporting women and children. Founded on the idea that if a woman or child ever feels unsafe, an Auntie will be ready to help with claws out.

We seek to obliterate the patriarchy through education, advocacy, elevating women-owned businesses and supporting each other.

We are smart, unapologetically ourselves and always feral.

If you choose to embrace your feral and join our society, you’ll find us in our private online community hosted on Circle.

The Feral Aunt Society Oath:

  • I, [Name], as a feral aunt or savage daughter, swear to protect and defend those who need it. I reject patriarchy, knowing it is the greatest mistake of humanity, and I will work with my feral sisters to build a better world through elevating women and children.

I acknowledge and agree that all human beings deserve dignity and kindness, and I will use whatever gifts I have to advance empathy, understanding, and protection of the innocent.

I will not entertain nonsense. I will not tear down other self-identifying women. I will not engage with hate, nor will I give willful ignorance a voice.

I promise to continuously learn, to assume positive intent from my feral sisters, and – when necessary – inflict emotional, spiritual, financial, or physical damage on those who would seek to harm.

Finally, I will always and faithfully stay feral.

What does the Feral Aunt Society do?

First, we’re about community. Our space is for women who want to build relationships, have safe spaces to share and discuss ideas, and we provide a place to organize our ideas into action that isn’t in the public sphere or controlled by a social media company.

Secondly, we have a few Feral Pillars where we focus our collective energy:

    1. Literacy: Helping advance literacy and improving reading levels for kids is the foundation of better life outcomes
    2. Supporting women-owned businesses and political candidates: Change in our world is tied to economics and politics, for better or worse, so we work together to advance matriarchal ideas, businesses and candidates in our local, state, and federal communities.
    3. Safety: We aim to provide safety education and resources specifically for self-identifying women and children
